In this paper, I examine the effect of intentions on the moral status we intuitively assign to actions, particularly in situations where an agent's intentions do not match the action's results. I also attempt to modify a form of rule consequentialism to account for intentions and address potential responses.

During four years at the University of Florida, I celebrated three national championships on University Avenue, exchanging enthused high-fives between rousing Gator chomps and cheers.
